Welcome to longdon.org

Longdon is a pleasant little village in Staffordshire, England. Converging with beautiful Cannock Chase forest and neighbouring Lichfield, Rugeley and Armitage, Longdon is a village and civil parish subdivided into three areas; Longdon, Upper Longdon and Longdon Green.



That's all well and good but what is longdon.org?

Well, we live in Longdon and work with 'the internets' so this site has just been a bit of fun as and when we've had the time (not very often). If you've been here before you'll know that we've mainly been using this little corner of the web to host the Official Longdon Village Hall Booking Calendar. Slowly but surely though, we've been adding a few more bits and pieces...

THEFT ALERT WEDNESDAY 17TH APRIL 2013!

KEEP YOUR EYES PEELED FOR A WHITE VAN WITH
"CABBAGE PATCH FRUIT AND VEG" WRITTEN ON THE BACK

Today two eastern European gentlemen driving a white van, with "Cabbage Patch Fruit and Veg" written on the back, were caught attempting to steal various items of garden furniture. They did it in broad daylight and when approached only very reluctantly put it back!
