20x Tables (each sized: 76cm by 183cm & can
seat 6 to 8 people)

NB. Tea towels, washing up liquid, bin bags are not provided.
Hall dimensions:
The main hall is roughly 5.6m wide and 15.55m
long, with an open central divide approx 7.7m from either end
There are partition doors at the far end of the
hall which can be opened so that the front of the kitchen can
be combined. This expands the main hall by roughly an extra 25sq
meters (5m by 5m)
Hall Capacity:
Maximum occupancy = 120 people (fire regulations)
100 people will fit comfortably with a DJ , a
small dance area & tables / chairs
The booking process explained:
Confirm that the date / time you require is available
in our bookings calendar.
Make an enquiry via our booking
enquiry page. (If you'd like to view the hall please just
ask, indicating the date time you'd like to do this). NB. All
bookings are subject to approval and are accommodated on an impartial
first-come, first-served basis. (This has to be fair for everyone
so absolutely no exceptions sorry!)
We'll then get back to you ASAP hopefully confirming
your provisional booking.
Download and review the hire agreement / noise
abatement forms available at the bottom of this page (or on our
booking enquiry page).
Print, complete and return pages 5 & 6 of the
hire agreement along with a cheque for deposit of £10 (to
the address / contact forwarded to you in step 3). All cheques
to be made out to Longdon Village Hall.
You will then be contacted re accessing the hall
on your hire date etc.
Booking fee balance will be due immediately following
your event.
Other useful info:
Setup / Cleanup time allowance:
All hirers are granted 30 minutes before and after their booking
period in order to setup or cleanup. (Non chargeable).
Payments: Please make all payments by cheque,
to Longdon Village Hall. No cash please.
Bar Facilities: The hall does not have a
bar facility, however there are many companies that will provide
a mobile bar service for your event, along with the appropriate
licensing provision.
Christmas: From 2nd Week in December a Christmas
Tree is erected at the West End of the Hall.
School proms: Apologies, but we cannot accept
bookings for school proms (following unfortunate issues in the
past).
Teenage parties: Due to unfortunate issues
in the past, a fully refundable £200 deposit will be levied
for all teenage parities. This will be refunded upon all reasonable
T&C being adhered to and upon a satisfactory inspection of
the hall being carried out following any teenage party event.

Before you begin your event: On arrival
at the hall if you notice that there's a problem of any kind,
please inform an LVH representative immediately.
Regular users belongings: All equipment
inside the store cupboard within the main hall belongs to our
regular users. Please do not interfere with these or fines will
be levied. Additionally please do not attempet to access the pre-school's
play area outside the North end of the hall.
Noise: To curb noise levels for residents
nearby there is a sound abatement unit installed in the hall.
This cuts off the power if maximum acceptable volume levels are
blatantly exceeded for a long period. Rest assured however, the
unit will allow ample volume for any celebration. Full T&C

If you have an evening booking please
also be considerate towards nearby residents when leaving
the hall.
